After school on Friday I went with my friend Paige to a Hip-Hop class. It was bring your friend to Hip-Hop Day. When we got in I had butterflies in my stomach. I didn’t like to dance in public. Well Mickey loved to dance. He begged and begged the dance teacher if he could bust some moves. The teacher said “No mice aloud”! I had to dance anyway. After the Hip-Hop class, Paige’s Mom brought me home. When I took one step inside, my dad said we had to leave in 10 minutes to see a movie called Planet 51 and pick up my friend, Carley. I rushed upstairs and grabbed a jacket and rushed back downstairs and grabbed Mickey in his bag. I followed my dad outside into the car and off we went to the movie. In the car my stomach growled. That reminded me I didn’t eat dinner ! On the way to the theater, my dad brought us to The WindMill Restaurant.Carley and I got Chicken and French fries. Mickey stole some of our fries. Then, Carley and I ran next door to the Movie Theater. It was really crowded. I rushed inside with Carley behind me while my dad and brother tagged along. My dad bought us a medium sized popcorn and some water. As we spun around we saw a HUGE line. I asked my dad what was it for. He said it was probably for the movie New Moon.Carley and I ducked and scurried past everyone. My dad gave the ticket woman our tickets and we all ran to a dark room. As we entered I could feel Mickey shivering and shaking.


We found seats and just as we sat the movie started. At times we could feel the popcorn bag shake. I knew it was Mickey stealing the popcorn. After the movie we dropped Carley off and drove home. It was a busy first day for Mickey.


At home we put him in some bed clothes and he fell right asleep. On Saturday when we woke up, we both rushed downstairs to the computer. I found a website that had Mickey characters everywhere! We played it for a while.Then it was time for me to put on my soccer clothes; I threw on my uniform and put on my socks and cleats. I found some shades and clothes for Mickey and put them on him. I stuffed him carefully in the bag and we hopped in the car and my dad drove us to my soccer game. It was a really tough game, there was big puddles and a lot of pushing and shoving. While Mickey watched us play, he smelled a dog, he quickly covered himself in coats and slept the rest of the game! After the game when we got home, Mickey was so happy to be away from the dog. Five hours later the sky fell dark. I was eating a mini burger lunchable and watching Monsters Vs Aliens. Mickey kept his eyes glued to the T.V even if my mom asked if he wanted some cheese! It was 9:30 and Mickey and I were getting tired. We walked upstairs together, and dropped ourselves both in my bed and fell into a deep sleep. When we woke up on Sunday, I had to go to church. Mickey was actually glad. He said he knew all the songs and that he could memorize things. That’s when my mom said that no mice were aloud in the church. Mickey felt really sad. He plopped himself down on the couch and watched T.V with my brother. I went to church and came back, it seemed like 10 minutes. Mickey was glad to see me again. He asked if we could go online and play the game I found again. I said it would be ok. At 1:30 , my mom said to get dressed in my soccer clothes for the championship game. Mickey jumped up and brake danced. I guess he was really, really happy to see me play my final game.



On the ride there, Mickey played with my Itouch. He got so into it that he was stuck in the car for 5 minutes. He wasn’t really paying attention to outside.








When the game started, you could here Mickey screaming and cheering. The sad news was that we lost 1-0. My dad said that we could all meet him at I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt. Mickey licked his lips as my dad said it. Everyone left the field and drove to I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt.




I got Cherry Sorbet. Mickey wanted a lick, but I told him he couldn’t get dirty. After , I went to my friend Madison’s house. Mickey didn’t want to go because he wanted to see Madison’s house when he went home with her. At 5:45, Madison’s Mom drove me home.When I got home I hugged my mom goodbye. She said she was going out. I said ok and sat on the couch and watched T.V. At 7:10 I ate pasta and cheese. All Mickey ate was the cheese. Mickey loved being with me but now he’s ready to go with Tyler. He misses Mr.Pask mostly!

My Crazy Weekend With Mickey!

I was so excited to get Mickey for the weekend, but I warned him we were going to be crazy busy!

On Friday night Mickey came with me and my mom to Family Fun Night. It was very crowded. Mickey and I saw Abby, Thomas and my friend Caitlyn. We played a bunch of different bingo games and at the end we played full board. Mickey and I were one space away from winning the grand prize. We didn’t win, but we had fun anyway.

On Saturday morning we woke up early to go to the Back From Iraq Parade with my CCD class. It was raining and cold, but Mickey and I were happy to be there to welcome the soldiers home.

After the parade there was a carnival at the armory for the soldiers and the community. My favorite part was the rock climbing wall. I made it to the top but Mickey didn’t want to go on. He said, “It’s too high for me!”

From the carnival we had to race to my soccer game in Millburn. It rained the whole game and it was so muddy. Mickey decided to watch the game from the car. He was so happy my team won 2-0. I was so happy too!

Sunday was really busy too. In the morning I went to my friend Brendan’s football game. He lost but played a good game. Mickey was too tired from yesterday to go, he wanted to stay in bed. Later I had another soccer game and this time it was home. Grandpa, Uncle Jimmy and Mickey came to watch me play. Mickey was so excited because I scored my first goal in the last quarter. Everyone was so happy we won.

After the great game Grandpa took all of us out to Charlie Brown’s for dinner. Mickey and I were so hungry. I had chicken fingers and Mickey ate all my french fries. Mickey and I also had ice cream and some of Grandpa’s huge fudge brownie sundae. When dinner was over we all said goodbye and went home to get ready for bed.

I told Mickey I had a great time with him this weekend and he said he had fun too but hopes the next time is not as crazy. Me too Mickey!

Mickey and Nicky

I decided to bring Mickey to my baseball game on Saturday. He watched as I pitched one inning.

During the game I was at bat four times. Mickey watched as I walked, got a single, a triple and struck out. My mom was filming the game and we won.

On Sunday Mickey came to my football game. He watched me tackle 5 guys. Mickey also saw someone foul me.

It was a great game, but we lost.

After the game Mickey came with us to grandma's for dinner. We ate pasta with meatballs, chicken with mushrooms,mozzarella, salad and bread. After dinner we had ice cream sundaes. Mickey loved the dinner so much he started dancing.He was doing all his Mickey moves. When it was time to leave, Mickey thanked my grandma and we went home. It was fun having Mickey around. I hope he comes back to visit.

TRICK OR TREATING WITH MICKEY!

On Saturday morning we got up at 7:25. We got ready for soccer practice and went downstairs to eat breakfast. We ate peanut butter sandwiches

with bananas. Mickey was so happy to see me play soccer!, I wasn't. I was tired. I put on my shiny shin guards and dirty cleats. When I got in my dad's car (Witch is a nissan), we got to the fields and no one was there. We saw our coach and he said he sent an e-mail to all the parent's phones saying, "the fields are too damp to play on." This time I was happy, Mickey was not.

After we found out that soccer practice was cancelled we went out for a bigger breakfast.

Mickey didn't know what to have, so he read the promising menu. I had delicious scrambled eggs, and so did Mickey.

After that we went to the store to buy Halloween candy. We also bought Mickey a basket to hold his Halloween candy!! We went home to relax for a little while. Then we put on our Halloween costumes and waited for our friends Josh and Dylan and our cousin Alton. Josh dressed up as a Dead skeleton person. Dylan dressed up as Billy Maze. Alton dressed up as a person from a swat team. Mickey really liked their costumes! When every body came we started trick or treating! Mickey was so excited to go trick or treating! So was I!

We went house to house to house to house and on and on. Mickey was wondering how much candy we would get!? We got nerds, skittles, MnM's and tootsie rolls YUM! After a couple more houses we went to my friend Thomas's house. We rang the door bell a couple times and then gave up. But then we saw them walking down the street! TALK ABOUT TIMING! "We are just taking a pit stop" Thomas's mom said. Thomas was walking with his friend (And our friend) Brian. Thomas dressed up as Evil Mark Texiera. Brian was dressed up as some kind of goblin. Mickey liked Thomas and Brian's costumes too. We said, "See you later!" to Thomas and Brian. After a couple more houses we decided go home.

The next day Mickey watched my brother and I play lacrosse. But Mickey didn't really watch us because he was thinking of how much fun he had on Halloween! I think Mickey had the greatest time trick or treating with me!

Mouse on the Loose

Mickey and I had a blast this weekend! First Mickey and I helped out at the Pumpkin Fair Friday night. We scooped popcorn into bags and washed 75 pumpkins. Mickey got tired of washing pumpkins so we left 10 of them for my mom to finish.

On Saturday morning, Mickey and I went to the Pumpkin Fair. We saw several classmates there. Then Mickey and I played a game to get a fish. We also went in the haunted house. After that we did some arts and crafts and played some more games. Mickey’s favorite thing about arts and crafts was making a creepy claw because he could draw whatever he wanted on it.

Later that day, Mickey went to my swim meet. He watched every event that I was in. I swam freestyle, backstroke, and a freestyle relay. I came in third place in backstroke and freestyle. My relay team finished in first place. Mickey’s favorite event to watch me swim was the freestyle relay.

Saturday night we drove to Connecticut to visit my grandparents. It was a long and rainy trip. When we arrived my aunt, uncle and cousin were there. The next day we went outside to play. Pretty soon it was time to go home. Mickey and I did a lot of fun things this weekend but I know his favorite thing was going to the Pumpkin Fair.

Mickey attends a Diwali Celebration

It was a perfect weekend for Mickey to come to my house. Saturday, October 17th was Diwali - the Indian festival of lights. We celebrate Diwali every year this time of year. We woke up early on Saturday morning and got ready for the celebrations in the evening. Mickey and I had breakfast with my Mom and Dad and my sister. In the evening, my Mom and sister lit lots of candles called 'Diya's' around the house to celebrate light. In the evening almost 80 people came to our house for a Diwali party. My friends got to play with Mickey as well. My sister and her friend Layla did a special Indian classical dance and Mickey got to watch.

After dinner, Mickey, my Dad and I and my friends went out to our backyard to light up special fireworks for Diwali. We had sparklers, and fountains and ground wheels and snakes that light up in smoke. It started to rain so we had to go back inside. We then played tag in the basement with my friends. Mickey got to watch that too. Having Mickey come to our Diwali party made it extra special!

Mickey also got to meet his twin in my room! I have a statue of Mickey as Obi Wan Kenobi in my bedroom. We bought the statue when we visited Disney World in 2008. Obi Wan's sabre lights up blue. It may have scared Mickey to see himself as Obi Wan Kenobi.

On Sunday morning, I woke up and had to study and do my Kumon math homework. Mickey got to watch, though he couldn't help. I think he was a little tired from the night before since the Diwali party ended late. So we stayed home and rested. But the weekend was great fun and having Mickey with me made it extra special.

What a Weekend!

Mickey Mouse had a great weekend with me (Alex)! On Friday we went to my friend's hippie birthday party. Look how great he looks wearing my peace scarf. Mickey fell asleep at the beginning of the party. He was upset that he missed the tattoos. :(

On Saturday my cousins, Morgan and Raegan, came from Ohio to visit. They have an exchange student from China named Angel staying with them. They wanted Angel to see the ocean, so we took a ride to the beach. Along the way we played the alphabet game, and Mickey found the most letters. Once we got there Mickey wanted to get his toes wet in the ocean, but I told him that wasn't such a good idea. When it was time to go home Mickey was sad. He sleep on the car ride home.

On Sunday we went to New York to see The Lion King. Morgan, Raegan, Angel, Mickey, Aunt Tami, Mom, Papou, Jack and I all went. Dad stayed home with Ella. First we walked to Times Square. Morgan remembered that she had always wanted to ride the ferris wheel in the big Toys R Us. When we got on, we went straight to the top. Mickey got a little scared when he looked down. So he covered his eyes with his ears.

Next we walked a really, really long time to Dylan's Candy Bar. Mickey was getting kind of bored on the walk, but when we got there, it was worth it. Candy galore! Mickey didn't know what to choose - Gobstoppers, M&M's or giant Dots. In the end, he picked the giant Dots because they came in his 4 favorite flavors - blue raspberry, lemon, cherry and orange.

After a quick lunch of pizza and salad, we all jumped in two different cabs to get to The Lion King. The cabs had to drop us off a few blocks away because there was a big Bolivian parade going on and they couldn't get through. We made it to the theater in the nick of time. We walked in, found our seats and the lights went off. People in animal costumes went right by our seats. Mickey loved the animals! He got scared when Scar came out though. I let Mickey hold my hand. He squeezed so tight that I had to ask him to let go for a minute. Tears were trickling down his face when Simba's dad died. He turned around and said that he couldn't look. At the end, Mickey was clapping the loudest. He really loved the show. All of the walking was worth it! Mickey fell asleep on the ride home from New York.

On Monday, my cousins, aunt and Angel left to go home to Ohio. Mickey was sad to see them go, but he knew it had to happen. The rest of the day was really quiet. Mickey didn't do much but rest up for the week ahead.
