Mickey Visits The Horowitz Family

I had a terrific time with Mickey over the weekend! On Friday afternoon Mickey and I relaxed and played Future Fight on my I - pod touch. I beat three levels and won ten arena battles. Next we went to play tennis. I played doubles with my friends Jacob, Annie, and Tyler.

On Saturday, at eight in the morning, I took Mickey to basketball. I scored once and got hit in the head once. After that, Mickey and I played Star Wars Risk. I was the Empire while Mickey played as the Rebels. I won of course, because I was making the card choices for Mickey. After that, Mickey watched my dad and I play tennis. My dad won six games, three sets, and one match to four games, two sets, and zero matches. After that, Mickey and I went to bed.

On Sunday, my mom took us shopping. I picked out The Lego set of the Avenger’s Tower. Mickey picked out a huge version of himself! I can’t wait till the next time Mickey comes over.

Chloe K. and Mickey's Valentine's Weekend

"Yay!"  Today was my week to take Mickey home.  I took  him home after our class party.  When we got home we took Mickey out of his bag.  I kept him on my dresser so he can see what was going on.  His adventures with the Katz family all started on Friday.

We wanted to take Mickey to New York City.  Luckily Grandma and Grandpa's view from their apartment was the Hudson River and the George Washington Bridge.  Before we went to Grandma and Grandpa's apartment we stopped at Brownstone Grill. It had the best pancakes ever and Mickey thought so too.  When we went back to the apartment Mickey watched Maddie and I swim.  He gave me high tens when I did back flips in the water.  We couldn't stay there too long because I had gymnastics that night.  So when we got back we all ate dinner.  Mickey watched me at gymnastics.


On Saturday I had a basketball game, Mickey cheered me on.  After basketball we went to my sister Maddie's hockey game.  Mickey and I were FREEZING!  Then we went out to dinner with our family friends.  Mickey thought the food was delicious.


Today was Valentine's Day!  Mickey and I woke up.  We went to Mom and Dad's room and opened cards and presents.  Mickey was excited so was I.  After we opened gifts we went downstairs for breakfast.  Dad made pancakes.  Then we went to my friend's house.  We all played together.  When it was time to go we got our shoes on.  Then, we went out to dinner.  When we came back we all went to watch some TV.  Then we got ready to get in bed.  Mickey and I had one more day together then it was time to say good bye.

It was an exciting Saturday morning as Mickey and I went to my basketball game which was Louisville vs. Michigan State. I play for team Louisville. Mickey watched me score 10 points in a 56-14 victory for us. Mickey also tried shooting the basketball but he couldn’t throw it high enough but surprisingly he threw it pretty high for a mouse like him. 

Later that afternoon we took Mickey snow tubing to Camp Gaw. It was so much fun to hold Mickey while snow tubing. At the cafeteria Mickey, my brother and I drank a nice cup of hot chocolate and ate mac and cheese bites with some French fries. It was whisker licking good to Mickey because it was his first time trying all that food. 

When we got back home Mickey was sad because he loved snow tubing and the food but Mickey knew that another fun day was going to come. On Sunday Mickey and I went for roller skating. Mickey was fast but not fast enough to keep up with me.  Go Mickey!

I was excited to bring Mickey home on Friday, January 22, 2016.  I was happy that I was going to have him home with me for the whole weekend.  When I got home from school I took Mickey out of the bag and showed him around my house and in my room. Friday night we watched the news together and heard that there was going to be a big snowstorm.  It wasn't snowing when we went to sleep that night.

The next morning when we woke up we looked outside and saw a ton of snow, the blizzard came overnight. It was snowing all day.  I went outside for a few hours with my friends and built an igloo.  When the igloo was finished I brought Mickey outside to show him.  I brought him inside the igloo and was careful that he didn't get wet.  I think he thought it was cold because he is used to living in Florida at Disney World where it is warm.

After we were done playing outside, I took Mickey in the house to warm up. He watched me drink hot chocolate and eat cookies.  Soon after I went sledding at the golf course with my brother and my friends. I left Mickey home because I didn't want him to get wet.  When I got home Mickey and I watched a movie, while I was watching the movie I was snacking and my tooth fell out!  I am not sure if Mickey has teeth?! After the movie the phone rang.  We got a call that school was cancelled!
I was so happy that I jumped up and down.  I get an extra day with Mickey!

     First, we waited for my sister to get off the Lincoln bus. Mickey had a smile ear to ear when he met Maeve, Brendan, Mom and Dad.  When we got home we played the Wii U with Micaela before gymnastics.  We jumped into the car. Mickey had butterflies in his stomach because he had never done a cartwheel before. Mickey sat with my mom and brother during the gymnastic class.  After  class, we skipped to the snack machine. Mickey and I shared some Sun Chips.

     When we got home to our house, Mickey helped my Mom make pizza. In case you were wondering,  Mickey is an awesome cook. Mickey was also good at playing the WiiU. He was especially good at Mario Super Card and Just Dance. After dinner Mickey jumped into my doll crib for the night.

     On Saturday Mickey got up at 6:30 am because we were going skiing at Hunter NY. When Mickey heard skiing, he did his "skiing dance." Two hours after we left our house, we arrived at the Twin Peaks coffee shop for lunch.  Then, we went skiing. It was too cold so Mickey sat in the car when I went to ski school.  I brought Mickey some hot cocoa.  He enjoyed it! We checked in at the hotel. Mickey loved looking at the pool when we walked to our room.

     I had so much fun with our guest, Mickey. I hope he has many more fun adventures!

Mickey Visits Gavin LaConti

First, me and Mickey played basketball then, we built lego spaceships. Then we played NBA 2k 16 and he helped me. After that we watched a movie together  it was so much fun we also played mini hocky. Me and mickey had so much fun.

Me, mickey and my friends had nurf  gun fights. It was a blast. But mickey did not shoot. Me and mickey won, we crushed them. Me and mickey had a great day.   



Then, I dressed mickey up. It was so funny, we also made  him a house.  And I gave him a little bed we made one for his dog.  It is like he lives with us it is so much fun. It's great having mickey, he is the coolest. I will never forget these days with Mickey.     

Winter Break with Mickey!

On Christmas Eve morning, I woke up to my cousin Claire shaking me. We were lucky enough to get a sleepover the night before. Later that day Claire, my other cousin Tommy, Patrick and I went into town. The first thing we did in town was go to Starbucks. I got a vanilla bean frap with java chips blended in and whipped cream on top. It tasted amazing!!!!! The next place we went was a dog store in town called, "Wolf Gang." I had to get a gift for my dog Mabel. I couldn't decide what to get her because all the stuff was so cute.  I ended up getting her peanut butter honey dog treats and a pizza dog treat. I hope she likes it! Lastly, Tommy and I went into Barons to get candy. Tommy was just getting candy for himself, but I was getting candy for my brothers for Christmas, Claire and myself. Plus, I had to spot Tommy because he ended up having no money. Once we got back from town, Tommy and Claire had to leave. I was sad but not to sad because I was going to see them again that night. After they left, I had to start getting ready for church. I was going to be singing with my friends Erin, Nora, Catherine and Ruby in the choir. I was wearing red velvet pants and a plain white shirt. I would be wearing a dress but I don't really like to wear dresses.  After mass, my cousins, Uncle Tom and Aunt Maura came over to celebrate Christmas Eve.  We ate, hung out and watched youtube practically the whole time.  After they left, I wrapped all my gifts and exchanged with my brothers.  My brothers got me a mini Starbucks cup, gift card and Hershey Kisses.  We read a Christmas story after opening gifts and in tradition, I slept in my brothers' room that night.  I was so excited for the next morning!

Finally, it was Christmas morning.  As usual, I had to wake up my brothers because they don't like waking up early.  Once we were all awake, we waited on the steps for our annual Christmas morning picture.  Santa was good to me.  I was spoiled with presents like a Westfield Soccer jacket, Uggs, and a winter jacket.  My favorite gift of all was a trip to Canada for President's Day Weekend to ski with my family.  In the afternoon, my nana, Pappa Joe, and their dog, Annie came for dinner and to sleep over.  They gave me an I-tunes gift card, a Starbuck cup ornament and a gift card to buy gifts that I wanted to get.  After dinner, we played a really fun game called Head's Up.  My brother, Aidan, turned the language to Spanish when it was his turn.  We didn't know he was tricking us until his 3rd round.  We all laughed so hard.  We finished the night by watching the movie, Pay It Forward.  I didn't like it because it was scary.  Overall, Christmas day was a great day with my family!  Annie and Mabel think so too.

At the end of Christmas break, I was playing with my friend, Grace, who I only get to see a few times a year.  We made an obstacle course in her basement and it was so much, at first.  While I was going through the course, I stepped on a basket and fell backwards.  I tried to break my fall with my hand and ended up hurting my wrist pretty bad.  Later that night, after icing it all afternoon and evening, my parents decided to take me to the urgent care near our house.  It turns out, I have a buckle fracture in my right wrist.  Now, I have to get a cast and my basketball season is over.  The only thing I am looking forward to is what color I will choose for my cast and getting it signed.  Overall, I had a great winter break and hope Mickey enjoyed sharing the holidays with me!
