My Journey Outside the USA with Mickey

I was so excited to spend a whole week with Mickey. On our first night together, we barely spent any time in my house before we rushed to New York City to celebrate my parents' 10th wedding anniversary (and Lincoln's birthday). We met my mom on the street and took a taxi to where they got married. There was a wedding going on there while we were there. We had dinner. I ate a grilled cheese sandwich and cheesecake without even realizing I had Mickey. I shared my dinner with him because I know he loves cheese of any kind so I wanted to start our week off with some of his favorite food (cheese).

On Saturday morning, we went to the airport to take a flight to Grand Cayman. Mickey and I even got a look in the cockpit, where we met the pilots Tom and Vincent. I watched The Sound of Music on the plane, but the plane ride was four hours and I didn't start right away so the plane ride ended before the movie did.

When I got to Grand Cayman, I went straight to the condo to discover that it was such a beautiful place. The condo we were at we had never stayed at before. When I got there, I couldn't believe my eyes. There were TVs in every room and the drawers were a reddish-brown mahogany color and had beautiful handles. That first night, I swam in huge waves that knocked me

down! Mickey was worried about me, but I told him I was fine and that I was having a lot of fun already. Some of the fun things we did included going on a banana boat ride, snorkeling, collecting shells (that was one of my favorite things to do), and drinking banana daiquiris (I even let Mickey have one, too). We spent a lot of time playing with my grandma, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

We also made a lot of sand castles, including one that had three giant holes and two bridges. Mickey said our sand castles looked a little like the Magic Kingdom, but I think he was just trying to be nice. I've been to the Magic Kingdom and it looks nothing like our sand castles.

We all gave ourselves new names. My new name was Cranberry with a "y." I don't know why I got that name. I don't want people to call me that in school. My brother's new name was Appleq with a silent "q." My friend Patti's new name was Charli with an "i."

We played tennis at night.

One night, Patti even spotted a white frog on the court and it jumped onto the gate. We scared it off the court so we wouldn't step on it or hit it with the ball. On my final day, we found another frog and you'll never guess where it was. Give up? It was in the toilet. We fished it out and set it free outside.

On the plane ride home, we were so excited to be coming back to New Jersey even though we had a great time in Grand Cayman and I hope Mickey likes being back in the USA. The day after we got back, I went to my cousin's birthday party. Mickey didn't want to come. He was too tired and excited from the trip to Grand Cayman that he just wanted to stay home.

I hope Mickey likes going to Maddy's house next!

Mickey Mouse Was In My House

First I woke up at 8:30. I put my snow boots on, my gloves on, and my jacket on. Mickey said he wasn't going to feel cold so I didn't put anything on him. Then me, my brother Sam, and Mickey went outside. I told my brother and Mickey we were going to have a snowball fight. Mickey didn't like the sound of that until I told him he was on my team. Then Mickey made a snowball and threw it at Sam my brother. Then Sam made one and threw it between Mickey's ears. After we kept hitting and missing Sam, we got tired and went inside. Then I said bye to my older brother because he was going to shovel other people's driveways. My babysitter made us three hot chocolate. It was yummy. Mickey said it was the best he's ever had.

On Sunday we went back in the snow. Sam, Mickey and I asked my mom if we could go sledding. Unfortunately she said no because we kind of woke her up. Then I said, "Let's do it in our backyard." It worked!!! Then my friend came over and had some turns on the sled, too. We all had a great time.

On Sunday night we got ready for the Super Bowl. We had nachos, chips & salsa, doritos, and cheese puffs. When the Colts were about to kick off, my dad quickly made a pool of our first initial in our name. When the first quarter was over, it was 10-0. The Colts were winning, and we did the pool with the last digit. I had 0 and 0, so I won 13 dollars. Mickey was so excited for me that he accidently spilled over a bowl of chips onto the floor. But that was OK. Our giant schnauzers cleaned them up. In the second quarter, I had o and 3, but they kicked another field goal and my big brother won the second quarter. He won 25 dollars. In the third quarter my big brother won again, but only 12 dollars. Then in the last quarter, my sister won 50 dolllars! Mickey was bummed that we only won the 13 dollars.

A Weekend At The Grandinetti's

When Mickey came home from school on Friday I was so excited!!!! Mickey told me that he could'nt wait until we got home for some snacks. Then I told Mickey that when we got home we had. To leave right away because I had to go to a birthday party. Mickey asked me what type of party it was but I told him I did'nt know. On the way home we stoped at CVS to buy a birthday card. Then I forgot to tell Mickey that he would get to see his old pal Tyler and that Tyler's mom was going to take us to the party Mickey was so happy to know that he would get to see is old friend. When my mom came back to the car(my grandma was with us) we were on are way back home. When we got home Mickey and I ran all the way to my room. I Got dressed and Mickey and I walked over to Tyler's house. We got into the car and off we went. When we got there about 20 minutes later I saw a fake roller skating figure on the top of the building. When I tried to tell Mickey I just heard a big Snooooooooooooooooooor!!!!!!!!!! So by the time we got our skates Mickey was awake. I showed Mickey the roller skates and he was thrilled to see them Mickey told me that he was a pro skater!! I told Mickey that I did'nt belive him but when he went on the rink I could'nt belive my eye's. Mickey went so fast that by the time he went around the rink it must have been at least 10 seconds!! By the time I came back from going around the rink it was time for pizza and cake. After pizza and cake it was time to play some games at the arcade. I think Mickey made alot of new friend's because every one won a stuffed animal and their were about 13 people plus all the people at the party while we were playing games we saw Kelly,Ben,and Lilly. Soon it was time to go home so we got all of our thing's and we left. On our way home we got lost and ended up in Rahway then in Newark. About an hour later Mickey and I were at home. Then I told Mickey that we should go to bed so we brushed our teeth and my dad tucked us in to bed. The next morning we had church but by the time we had to leave Mickey was asleep. It was a very big supprise when I saw my friend Sarah. When we went to the chaple I sat next to Sarah then after chuch Sarah invited me to her house. Then I remindied her that we had soccer she said that it was fine. So then we stoped picked up my clothes in the basment and left. Soon it was time for soccer so then we got dropped off.Then Sarah's mom picked us up and it was time to say by to Sarah. When I got home my dad ordered Tiga he got 2 of chiken fingers and fries and some Nochos. Then it was time for bed agian.
I hope the rest of the class has a fun time with Mickey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mickeys weekend with ryan

MICKEY'S WEEKEND.

Mickey and i were walking home and mickey complanded.He said he was cold.I stoped at the deli and got some gum and mickey started to get warm.

when i got home mickey went dog back riding on my dog.

After that i went on my computer and played a game called Maple Story.

I played while mickey started to relaxe for a while.

when it was time for bed mickey was to tired to walk so he sleepon the table.

The next day was Saturday and i went to Vikies dinerand mickey at a whole croosant.

After that i had my drum lessons and Mickey was a rockstar.For the rest of the

day we relaxed.

The next day was my brothers bday party and mickey didn't want to do much.

The next day it was my brothers real bday.

I had to go out side and i jumped on a pogo stick 159 times.

Micky & Madison Weekend

On the first day of Mickey's weekend, my family had to go to Ricky's hockey game, so Jacqueline and I went into the indoor soccer field where Mickey took some shots on goal. We thought we were just going to find Erin there, but along the way we saw some more friends. We saw Kayla and Alex. Mickey didn't know they were coming, so he got scared when they came through the door - so he started gnawing at the soccer net. Shortly thereafter, he asked for some cheese because the net left a bad taste in his mouth.

After we stared playing some games, when we saw some soccer players come in, they started to do some wierd moves that the coach asked them to do. Mickey started showing off by doing cartwheels and rolls.

Next we had a running race and soon we went home.

The next day we had another hockey game and when we went home, I changed the water and food in the hermit crabitat. I let Dash out of the cage, and when I came back with clean water, Dash was on top of Mickey's nose! Quickly I took Dash off of his nose and I put the water and Dash back in the cage. Mickey told me Dash tickled his nose, and he was afraid Dash was going to pinch him with his big claw. I took Mickey downstairs and started to make dinner.

Mickey was a great help, stirring the cheese mix for the manicotti ( I was afraid he wanted to jump in the bowl and eat it all up!) and he loved stuffing the noodles too!

He wasn't a big fan of the garlic bread, but like a gentlemouse, he tried it anyway and left it on his plate (not a big salad fan either!).

After dinner, Mommy closed the dishwasher door and heard a scream - Mickey was stuck inside. Turns out he was licking the cheese off of the dinner plates! Silly mouse!

I enjoyed having Mickey as a house guest this weekend, and I told him that he can sleep over again at any time.

MICKEY'S HENDRIX HOLIDAY!!

This is Mickey when he first got to Skytop with me on December 26th. Skytop is in the Poconos and it is where my Grandma has a cottage. I spend a lot of time there but this was Mickey's first time at Skytop. When we got there we went straight to the Skytop Lodge game room, and Mickey seemed to have a lot of fun there. Until he asked where he could find some cheese. We quickly went to the Tea room, which is where we eat when we spend time at "the Lodge." 

When Mickey and I got home we were very tired, from opening so many presents the day before. We watched the movie "Imagine That" until we were to tired to watch any more so we went up to bed. I showed Mickey his room and as I was showing him around he must of fell asleep on his bed. I put a blanket on top of Mickey and he quietly began to snore. Mickey's snoring made me so tired I fell asleep, too.

Today Mickey and I are going to Church with my grandmother, my family, and my cousins. When we come back we will go for a h

ike around the lake and if it snows enough we will go dog sledding. Mickey said he's kind of nervous to go dog sledding because it's his first time. But then I told him it would be fun and he went from nervous to excited. But today is only Sunday and we have much more fun things for Mickey and I to do.

         

While we were at Skytop we went ice skating at the indoor door ice skating rink.  I think Mickey liked the hot chocolate as much as I do.  We never went dog sledding because the snow started to melt a lot!  Mickey and I were happy to stay home together.

         We went home to Westfield on Wednesday so we could get home before the snow storm.  It snowed so much that we made a snowman with my brother Creighton, that we named Frosty Jr.  Mickey was only outside a short time because he was getting very cold.  We had a great New Years Eve and Mickey was a really good Monopoly player.  He almost beat my brother Christopher!

         I had a great break and it was so much fun to share it all with Mickey.  Mickey fit right in with my family and enjoyed all the activities.  He also enjoyed all the food -- especially the cheese.

Mickey's Fantabulous Weekend

When I first got in the car with Mickey, he hid in his bag when he saw my dog, Henry. Once we got to my house, we made popcorn for a snack, but Mickey wanted cheese. We went to a friend's for dinner, but Mickey didn't come. Instead, he and Pluto laid around the house and probably snooped in the refridgerator while we were gone. When we got home at 11:00 pm, we saw him right where we left him, but he looked stuffed! Then we all went to bed. I was so tired, I plopped down on my bed and fell right asleep.

The next day, Mickey watched me play electronic banking Monopoly. It took a long time, but Mickey watched the whole time! I ended up winning the game with $17 million. I think Mickey was my good luck charm. We had dinner together. Mickey was still stuffed from the night before, so he didn't eat anything. Dinner was on the late side, so after that we watched some TV before bed. Mickey was so surprised when he saw himself on the Disney Channel!

The next day, Mickey was SO happy it was snowing so I didn't have to go to Sunday School. Mickey wanted to go out and build a snowman, but he thought it was too cold outside, so he just watched from the window. After that I came in and I was so cold and we made cookies. We made so many plates, that we have too many cookies now and we don't know how we're going to eat them all. Mickey wanted to eat the whole plate of cookies so badly. When I went downstairs and came back up I caught Mickey just in time.

Mickey and I were both so glad that we got to spend the weekend together. Thanks Madison!
