Mickey & Mr. Pask

What a weekend I had with Mickey, boys and girls! Friday night I made dinner for three of my friends (Matt, Tiff, and Amber). I made eggplant that was stuffed with vegetables and topped with mozzarella cheese. Mickey went crazy for the cheese as soon as I opened the container, but I made him wait until I used enough for the recipe before I gave him any. He was a good, patient mouse. The meal was delicious and the aromas of the eggplant filled our noses and made us all want to eat a second helping.

On Saturday, I had to go to get some work done on my car. I saw in the cafe and graded some papers, while Mickey looked at the car wash. He kept asking to go there, so after I got my car back, we went together into the car wash. Although he was excited to go in, once we were there, he was a big scardy mouse! He tried to hide under the seat, but I rebuckled his seat belt and told him it was going to be okay.

Saturday night, Mickey and I went to dinner with some friends. I ordered chicken in a sauce and a side salad... or so I thought. The dinner came and the chicken was no where to be seen! Instead, it was hiding under a huge mound of salad. The meal wasn't very good, but Mickey and I still enjoyed laughing with our friends.

It's been almost a year since I was able to have Mickey at my house, and am I ever glad that he was able to come! It was such fun! I know that next weekend, Mickey is going to have a blast with Cristian and his family and friends. I can't wait to read about that weekend and all of the fun times that 3MP will have with Mickey Mouse this year!

Mickey's Birthday Packed Weekend

On Friday afternoon Ella had a birthday party for her friend Declan so my friend's mom had to pick us up from school and bring us to the party. When Ella saw Mickey, she yelled "Miccey Mouuu" and gave him a big hug. After Declan's party we had a quiet night at home.

The next morning my cousin, Alyssa, and my Uncle Mike visited from Connecticut to help Ella celebrate her 2nd birthday. Ella's party began at 11am. There was a moon bounce, a play-doh table, a fishing game and a rice table. Mickey thought that the fishing game was a little scary because he was worried that he might fall in the pool, but he really enjoyed the moon bounce. I did too!

As soon as Ella's party was over at 12:30, Jack's baseball team arrived for their end of the season party. Since Jack plays baseball with Rebecca's brother Adam, Rebecca was at the baseball party too. Mickey was so excited to see Rebecca again. My good friend, Kaela was there too. It was so hot, we decided to put our feet in the fishing game left over from Ella's party. Mickey wanted to cool down too, but we told him dipping his feet would ruin his shoes.

When the baseball team hit the road, we had a quick break then we were off to Theresa's 2nd birthday party. Theresa is Ella's first friend and their birthdays are just a day apart. The party was at the town pool. By that time, it was super hot and Mickey really wanted to take a dip. We told him it wasn't a good idea but he could watch by the edge.

Finally the parties were all over. Mickey was exhausted, but our day wasn't done yet. We packed up for the beach and said good-bye to Alyssa and Uncle Mike. Mickey read Goosebumps on the way down. He fell asleep while reading. Then he must have had a nightmare because he woke up screaming. That got Ella going. Try sleeping with a 2 year screaming, "I know Papou; I know Yia Yia". Thanks a lot Mickey!

We spent a quiet day on the beach on Father's Day. For Dad's Father Day gift, I let him read the last few chapters of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollow's with me. Mickey got a little scared when Voldemort came into the scene. I just hugged Mickey tight and covered his ears.

Papou, Dad and Mickey covered Ella's and my legs in sand. Then they covered my whole body. Ella didn't want any part of that.

After a day at the beach, Mickey and I had a nice dinner with YiaYia and Papou then enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the bay.

I hope Mickey doesn't wake up screaming for Caroline!

MICKEY AT THE HENDRIX HOUSE, AGAIN!

Mickey Mouse and I started off our time together by eating cheese for an hour! We ate all kinds of cheese like Mozzarella, and Cheddar . Since school is almost over for the year, we don't have any homework tonight. So Mickey and I did some serious TV watching, We watched the show "Ellen". One of the women in the studio audience played in a game show. She won an X-Box, a digital picture frame and a trip for two people to Orlando, Florida. Well, Mickey almost fell off the couch because this is where he lives, Disney World, USA.

Mickey got to spend time with me while we played wiffle ball in the back yard with my two brothers. Mickey got a home run which was great because he was on my team. We didn't keep score but I think we won. My brothers, Christopher and Creighton, thought it was really cool that Mickey could run the bases so fast. We all got tired and came inside for nachos and cheese, of course!

We were all really tired so we went inside to hang out. My brother Creighton was getting ready for his 5th Grade dance for Wilson School graduates. Mickey and I wanted to go but we were told we couldn't because it was just for 5th graders. So, we put on our favorite song "Sweet Caroline" and sang as loud as we could. It was a great afternoon with Mickey -- he is a really cool friend.

I hope you all have a great summer -- I am sure Mickey is tired from all the adventures with our class this year. Just think only 11 weeks and he will meet a whole new class of kids :) Thanks Mr. Pask for all you did for all of us this school year!

Mickey Meets my Baseball Team

When Mickey got home from school with me we had a snack. Mickey refused to eat he said the popcorn had no cheese. So he hid in his little, black, Disney bag. At least I thought he did he snuck out of the bag and ate all the Parmesan cheese.

When me babysitter got to my house I was already done with my homework. So I turned on the TV and the South Africa Uruguay game was on. It was only the last ten minutes though. The score was 2-0 Uruguay. I'm still surprised South Africa hasn't won a game yet! They also have home team advantaged every game. I turned my head to look out the window for 1 second and Mickey screamed GOAL. I guess Mickey was rooting for Uruguay because when I turned my head the score was 3-0 Uruguay. The game was over in another twenty something seconds and Uruguay won.

Then I went outside to throw against my pitch back. When my mom got home I had dinner. After dinner my dad took me to baseball practice.
When we got there we were early. On G-3 we saw Nicky's team playing Union. So I went over to G-3 to see Nicky's game. The game was about to start when my dad started wondering where the rest of the team was. When my dad checked his E-mail the practice was at Tamqeus. So quickly we hopped in the car and drove to practice. Mickey was getting tired so he took a nap on the way to the field.

When we got to the field Matt Bartok was there at the same time. So we weren't too late I told Mickey. When I got into the batting cage the first time Matt held Mickey and my dad took a picture with Mickey but we can't find it. Then I went over to the tee with Mr. Riley. After that I went in the cage three more times.
After practice I went back to Nicky's game with my friends Danye and Charlie. When we got there Westfield was losing 5-2. So we went to the outfield to play jackpot. The final score was 7-4 Union.

When I got home I said went to bed. The next morning I said good bye to Mickey told him I had a great time with him and to be good the new third graders.

Matthew and Mickey Reunited

On Thursday, I got to take home Mickey again! When we got home, Mickey wanted to play with my Spy Blaster Trap. It's a machine that shoots balls at you when it senses your motion.We tried jumping over it and running in front of it without getting hit. But still Mickey was shot in the chest.
After Spy Blaster Trap, we decided to play with my marbles. We thought of a game and named it: Bowling With Marbles. The game is just like bowling except a marble is the bowling ball and crayons are the bowling pins. Mickey was not very good at this game. He once tried to hit 9 pins but missed by 2 feet!
While playing with my marbles, I suddenly remembered I didn't do my Daily Reading Homework. I decided to read a chapter to Mickey. The chapter was called Felix Felicis from book: Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince.It was about Harry putting Felix Felicis, a lucky charm, into Ron's Pumpkin juice so they could win the coming Quidditch Match. Eventually, they did. Mickey loved the book.
It was the end of the day and I had a blast with Mickey. I hope everybody did, too

Mickey + Josh = fun (:

ickey had a really good time at my house on Tuesday. When got to my house I went upstairs to do my homework. Then I went to watch some TV until my mom reminded me that Nomahegan was open during the week now. I went upstairs to put my bathing suit on and then we left for the pool (I didn't forget to bring Mickey). We ate dinner there and then I went in the pool. After that Mickey wanted to watch more TV so we saw a Fifa soccer match and then we watched some cartoons. Mickey saw ninjas on one of the cartoons and he decided that he wanted to be one too. Mickey and I went up to my room for Mickey's ninja training. Then he thought he was ready for his fight. I told him that I thought so too and that he could probably beat Spongebob. Mickey wanted to stretch before the battle so he did.

Then it was time for round one. Spongebob tried to trick Mickey but Mickey was to smart. Then Mickey flipped and karate chopped spongebob in the face.

Round two: Mickey's stretching really payed off because then he did a split on top of Spongebob for the end of round two.


Round 3: Mickey kicked Spongebob off of my bed and onto the floor. †hen he jumped on Spongebob to win the match!



Mickey got really tired of all the fighting so he wanted to take a nap. But he couldn't sleep because then I had a guitar lesson and the volume on my amplifier was up all the way. After my lesson I started to practice but then Mickey came into my basement and said that he wanted to try to play. He is pretty good at guitar.


After Mickey learned how to jam on the guitar he said he was tired so we went to bed early that night. Then Mickey told me that he was hungry but I just told him to wait until the morning.
In the morning Mickey wanted some cheese so I went to get some. While I was looking for cheese Mickey sat on the kitchen table and tried to solve a Rubix' Cube. He wasn't very successful.

Then I found the cheese and brought it to him to see if he liked it. He loved it!

Then I went to type this blog and Mickey went on the computer too.

Mickey Mouse with Sofia...AGAIN!!!

WHEN MICKEY GOT INTO MY HOUSE, HE JUMPED OUT OF HIS BAG AND LOOKED IN THE REFRIGERATOR. I DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW WHY AT FIRST, BUT THEN I ASKED ANYWAY.

"MICKEY, WHY ARE YOU LOOKING IN THE FRIDGE?" I ASKED.

"FOR SOME CHEESE, DUH!"

WE HAD A SNACK OF OREOS AND SPRAY CHEESE, AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR OUR TENNIS LESSON. WE WENT TO WESTFIELD INDOOR TENNIS CLUB. MICKEY HIT A FEW SHOTS, BUT THEN THE RACQUET FELL ON TOP OF HIM SO HE DECIDED TO WATCH FROM THE WINDOW.

ON THE WAY HOME HE GOT HUNGRY FOR ANOTHER SNACK. MY MOM GAVE HIM A BAG OF GOLDFISH. HE SAID HE WANTED MORE SPRAY CHEESE, BUT THE GOLDFISH WOULD DO.

WHEN WE GOT HOME, MY FAMILY NOTICED A GROSS ODOR LURKING IN THE HOUSE. EVERYONE WONDERED WHAT IT WAS. WE SOON REALIZED IT WAS MICKEY THAT SMELLED. IT SMELLED LIKE HE JUMPED IN A POOL OF ROTTEN COTTAGE CHEESE AND DIDN'T SHOWER AFTER. GROSS! WE THREW HIM IN THE SHOWER PRONTO AND TURNED ON THE WATER. HE ASKED FOR L'OREAL SHAMPOO FOR MICE, BUT HE SETTLED FOR OUR DOVE LAVENDER SMELLING SHAMPOO. WHEN HE CAME OUT HE WAS SQUEAKY CLEAN, LITERALLY!

AFTER A NICE SHOWER AND A GOOD BOOK, HE WAS GETTING TIRED. WE WENT TO SLEEP IN MY ROOM.

WE WOKE UP AT 7AM, GOT DRESSED, BRUSHED OUR TEETH AND HAIR, AND RAN DOWN FOR BREAKFAST. HE ASKED FOR CHEESY PUFFS, BUT WE GAVE HIM COCOA PUFFS INSTEAD. HE ATE THE WHOLE BOWL, THEN GRABBED A SLICE OF SWISS CHEESE. BEFORE MY FAMILY CAME DOWN, MICKEY AND I PLAYED MARIO KART Wii AND I BEAT HIM BY A TAIL.

WE WALKED TO SCHOOL AND HE ADMIRED A NEARBY SQUIRREL EATING A NUT. I PROMISED TO GIVE HIM NUTS NEXT TIME HE STAYS OVER. MICKEY AND I HAD A GREAT TIME TOGETHER AND I HOPE THE NEXT PERSON DOES TOO.=-)
