Brennan's Weekend with Mickey

 This was a great weekend with Mickey! We started our weekend with a relaxing night in.  We had pizza and watched a few episodes of Naruto.  It was an early night because Saturday was a big day .

Saturday morning Mickey and I were up early because I had a championship swim meet.  Mickey wasn’t happy about the early wake up. He just wanted to stay in bed and eat cheese. Eventually he woke up and we had a quick breakfast and zoomed out the door. Mickey said he wanted to swim too and stole my cap and goggles.  I told him I need them back and traded a piece of parmesan cheese for my stuff. After Mickey cheered me on at my meet we rushed off to Dave and Busters for my friends birthday.  It was a little crowded there so to be safe, Mickey spent most of the afternoon in the car while I played.

The next day, we woke up very excited to go to my friends house to watch the super bowl. We had a long wait for it to start so we played Taco vs. Burrito with my brother Liam.  Liam was happy to have Mickey visit this weekend because he never got to have him when he had Mr. Pask in 3^rd grade.  Finally, it was time to go to our Super bowl party and Mickey was ready to root for the Eagles. He was also happy to visit his old friend Izzy from last year.

Cara's Weekend with Mickey!

 My adventure with Mickey started on Saturday morning! After a morning of tennis, my dad, my brother Mason, Mickey and I went to Chipotle to eat a delicious lunch. I decided to leave Mickey in the car so that he didn’t get dirty. When I came back to the car, the poor mouse was freezing! Once I was back at my house, I warmed Mickey up with some leftover chips. Mickey loved the snack! A little while later, I went to Whole Foods with my mom and let Mickey ride in the front of the shopping cart. Mickey picked out a lot of goodies for us to try. Even though my mom and I don’t like fruit, he wanted strawberries so we bought them for him and my sister Addie. After that, me and Mickey went upstairs to relax and did racquet swings together. I pretended I was his coach. We felt tired quickly though, so we snuggled together and went to bed.  

On Sunday morning, Mickey was back at Centercourt Tennis Academy with me! I had a tennis lesson with Coach Cinto, but we didn’t think he would want to take a picture with Mickey Mouse since he is very serious, so I took one by myself with Mickey on the court. Mickey sat on the bench and kept saying, “Wow, wow, wow, Cara!” He was jealous he couldn’t play too, since we had practiced the night before. After all the excitement and great points, he was ready to get back in the car and take a nap. We drove home and listened to Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. I hope he wasn’t sad that we didn’t listen to Disney music.

We ended our amazing weekend together, by inviting my grandparents over for dinner. My mom made Greek food because we are going to Greece in the summer, but Mickey was disappointed that there weren’t any more chips from Chipotle. He was happy to meet my grandparents though and was very social. I think he had a good time with me and my family. It was fun introducing him to new sports, great stores, and delicious foods. Gosh, the weekend sure was swell!

Ava's Weekend with Mickey

 When I got Mickey I was so excited. I couldn't wait to have an awesome weekend with him! I was looking forward to showing Mickey all around my house when he came home with me. It was my birthday this past weekend, it was perfect timing for me to be assigned to have Mickey. Mickey was in for an adventurous weekend with my family and I.

On Saturday morning Mickey and I had breakfast together. Mickey sat next to me at the table, we ate life cereal. Mickey did not want milk so he ate it dry. My friend Mickey and I got dressed and went to my brother Anderson's basketball game. We watched from the stands and cheered my brother on. After the game we began baking my birthday cake. The cake batter was strawberry confetti with vanilla icing once it was baked. Mickey and I put lots of sprinkles on the cake, they were rainbow colored. 

Mickey and I went to a family Christmas party at my cousin Kathleen's house. After the party Mickey and I opened my birthday presents. It was memorable having him at my 9th birthday party. I had so much fun this weekend with Mickey mouse.My family and I will remember our weekend with Mickey for a long long time. My family and I took many pictures to look back on to remember our awesome weekend with Mickey.

Mickey's Awesome Weekend with Keira

 On Friday 

Mickey did many fun things this weekend, with my family, friends and teammates (hockey and basketball teammates). I had a playdate with Dylan and Leah from 3-JP. We made slime and baked cupcakes. Mickey helped crack the eggs! 

Then I had to go on a train, Mickey stayed home with my Au Pair Angie because I did not want to leave him on the train. I wish he was there because I scored the game winning goal and got the hat for being the best player on my hockey team! Even though Mickey was not there, my teammate Shannon had a Mickey sweatshirt on so it was like he was there a little bit. 

On saturday 

I had a basketball game at 8:00am. We won the game, we scored a lot of baskets and Mickey was a great cheerleader. 

After the game, I went around my neighborhood and sold Girl Scout cookies. We made 71 dollars. Mickey was a great salesmouse and he had a lot of fun until it started to rain.  

Then, we went home and dried off and soon after that we went to Taylor's birthday  party. He ate a lot of candy from the candy bar, and then ate 4 cupcakes! 

He watched some of the Eagles and Giants game and he used his awesome cheerleading  skills to root on the Eagles to victory! 

On Sunday Mickey got to see me win another hockey game. He was so excited to see 4 teams he was rooting for win. He got to see my first hockey game, my basketball game, the Eagles vs Giants game and now my second hockey game. He also got to sit on the bench and cheer us on! 

Mickey had a great weekend with the Gillenwater family and wants to come back again and have another great weekend with the Gillenwaters! 

A Touchdown Weekend at Cole's

 First, Mickey and I played football. He scored a touchdown in the third period. I was surprised at how good he was. I told him he carried the team! Mickey wanted to play VR games, so we stopped playing football and went to play VR. 

Then, we played a dunking game. He said he loved it, but he wanted to play a different game, so we played Penguin Paradise. Mickey asked me to leave because he wanted to be alone. I waited an hour, and he came up and said that he wanted me to come down and watch him on the TV playing VR games. He then decided that he actually wanted to play basketball, so we went outside. 

Last, he shot and made a lot of three pointers. My dad was watching in shock! He came outside and asked to play with us. Mickey broke my dad’s ankles and dunked on him! Mickey loved playing with me and I loved it too.

I had an amazing winter break with Mickey. When Mickey and I got home we were with my grandparents and we got to play board games. So me, Mickey, my grandparents, and my brother played Monopoly. Then our parents got home and we went upstairs. When my grandparents left, Mickey met all his new Hanukkah friends! Then they played dreidel. Mickey got GIMEL! He was so excited he had never played dreidel before. 

On Christmas I ate Chinese food and watched The Grinch. When we were watching a movie, Mickey got cold. My Mom let him borrow her Mickey socks and he was all warm.   

We all had a fortune cookie including Mickey! Mickey said his was yummy. His fortune was “If you don't believe in yourself, who will?” 

Mickey wasn't there but I did get my ears pierced. It hurt but only for a second. My grandpa is a dermatologist and he pierced my ears. After it was done I was so proud and amazed. I never stay still when something will hurt but I did it!

Mia and one other friend came over for a sleepover! Then we had pizza for dinner (Mickey loved his.) When we finished we went downstairs to set up our sleeping mats. Then we had a dance competition. Mia won! Once we went to bed we heard this weird sound. It sounded like it was something gross. But when we woke up we ate breakfast. And then Mia and our friend’s moms were there. We hid but our moms found us.

After a few very long days Mickey and I were sleepy so we decided to rest for a few minutes. Yesterday I went to Sky Zone. Mickey was not there, but I won 3 new stuffed animals they wanted to rest too but with my little brother Harrison.

I had an AMAZING winter break with Mickey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abby's weekend with Mickey

 First, Mickey and I drove to New York with my Aunt.  We drove to my other Aunt’s apartment.  

Then, we went to the Gazillion Bubble Show at New World Stages and Mickey asked for a picture in a bubble so I said, “OK Mickey”.  We watched the bubble show and it was very fun.  Mickey even waved his hand in the air to try to pop the bubbles. 

 

After that, we went to lunch at Toasties.  I got pancakes for lunch.  I asked Mickey if he wanted some but he just ordered cheese.

Next, we went to Rockefeller Center and saw the big Christmas tree.  Mickey asked me if he could climb the tree and I said “No Mickey!”.

Finally, me and Mickey went to FAO Schwarz and saw all the toys. Mickey and I loved one toy the most.  It was the stuffed animals.

The next day, Mickey and I woke up and played some games.  Mickey and I played against each other in a racing game and Mickey won.

Then Mickey and I made pottery together.  We made a clay bowl. Mickey wanted us to make something fancy but I said we should just make a normal bowl for now.

Then, we went to Keira’s birthday party. Mickey didn’t play though. We had cupcakes and Mickey took a bite of mine because he said that he wouldn’t be able to eat a whole one. 

Finally, when we got back to our house,Mickey and I decorated the tree. Mickey couldn't reach the high part of the tree so he only put on some of the ornaments on the bottom part of the tree.
