Mickey's Easter Vacation

Mickey came home to my house for Easter. We had an extra long weekend together since we didn't have school on Friday.

First, I brought Mickey home and showed him around. I introduced him to my brother and my parents.

After, we played outside. We played on my Razor Trike. It spins so Mickey got a little dizzy. Mickey also drove a car. He even wore his own helmet and a seat belt. We had fun outside.

On Friday, my Uncle Patrick came with his family to visit. He has two daughters, Cassandra (9) and Julia (8).

There was a problem. My Uncle Pat grew up in Massachusetts and he is a BIG Red Sox fan (so is my Mom). Which I forgot about until I introduced him to the Jeter jersey wearing Mickey. It got a little ugly. But my Uncle Pat couldn't say anything since the Yankees are in first place and the Red Sox were in last place.

I planned to take Mickey to my softball game but it got cancelled because of the rain.

Before my cousins left we had an Easter egg hunt. Mickey was very helpful finding eggs that were hard to find. He found the special "Golden Egg" which contained no candy but a $1 bill.

On Sunday, Mickey smelled cheese and snuck off. We couldn't find him for a while. But finally, we found him stuck with his belly full of cheese.

I'm going to miss Mickey, he can come back when ever he wants unless the Red Sox and the Yankees are playing against each other. GO RED SOX!

Mickey Mouse in Morgan's House

Today, April 1, 2011, I got to bring Mickey Mouse to my house. I was so excited and so was Mickey! The best part was I got to keep him over Spring Break! I had a lot of plans for us. This Spring Break my parents went away to Paris and me and my brothers and sister went to our Grandparents houses. Mickey tried to get into the suitcases to go to Paris, but I found him in time just before my parents left. Mickey helped me pack my bags and we left for Pennsylvania.

Mickey and I had a fun few days at my Grandparents house. We played arcade games and Mickey is great at pinball. Mickey and I won some ping pong games against my sister, Emily. We taught Mickey some songs on the piano. We ate a lot of yummy food together like cookies, ice cream and cupcakes too. At night Mickey loved to use my pillow pet to sleep on. One day over break we traveled to Philadelphia. That is where we saw the Liberty Bell and Betsy Ross' house. Mickey's favorite part of the trip was the horse and buggy ride around town. I also took Mickey with me to visit the Crayola Factory. He really liked the shirt that I made for him. We had a busy and fun time in Pennsylvania and then it was time to go back home to New Jersey.

Once we got back to my house Mickey got to meet my whole family. He really liked my dogs, Snoop Dogg and Alabama. One day we went to the mall and Mickey helped me pick out some new clothes. I took Mickey to a few restaurants. We watched some movies together. He loves to see himself on TV. We played lacrosse and soccer too. I had so much fun with Mickey Mouse. I hope he had a great time too. I hope he rests up so he isn't too tired for his next trip!
