Anthony and Mickey!

 I was so excited it was finally my turn to take Mickey Mouse home for the weekend.  On Friday, when we got home from school, he watched me play basketball outside. My brothers weren’t feeling great so it was a quiet night at home.  We had pizza for dinner and hung out on the couch together watching Mandalorian.  It started to get late so we decided to go to bed. I loved having him sleep with me!

On Saturday morning when we woke up it was raining so we went into the basement and played video games for a little while! After about an hour, we came upstairs for breakfast.  Mickey and I both shared a bowl of Lucky Charms.  They were delicious. I then went to a birthday party but kept him home to make sure that I didn’t lose him.  When I got back from the party I gave him a big hug, I sure did miss him!  We then went back into the basement and played some knee hockey and basketball together.  He got a slam dunk!

On Sunday morning everyone slept in late because he had no early morning activities.  We ate bacon & eggs and relaxed on the couch watching another episode of Mandalorian.  At around 2pm we left to go to my Grandma’s house.  We were celebrating her 71st birthday at a restaurant called Brio.  He had fun helping blow out her candles! 

We had a GREAT weekend together!!! 

Mickey & Christian's Fun Weekend Together

 Mickey and I had a very fun weekend together. When I woke Saturday morning, March 11,2023, I smelled the delicious scent of Dad’s biscuits with butter. I had to wake Mickey up because it was only 6:00 A.M.. I got dressed quickly because I had a basketball game at 8:00 A.M.. Mickey was cheering us on as we played the Michigan team.  Unfortunately, we lost 15 to 41. I wasn’t upset because Mickey was there with a big smile. 

After the basketball game, we went to a magic show at the library with my friend Curtis. I loved the snake card trick because it gave me a jump. I even got to get one of the magic tricks at the show. We found a book about Mickey and his friends.  After the show, Mickey watched me eat chicken tenders at Turning Point. I had to get milk but I would have preferred a chocolate milkshake.

In the afternoon, my friends Charlie and Luca came over to my house and lounged around playing Minecraft, Roblox and basketball. Mickey had a fun time watching us but he got scared when we were playing a game with a ghost. Then, we played ball with my dog Gracie for a while.

Mickey has a good arm. For dinner, I had baby lamb chops and shrimp from a new Greek restaurant. Mickey and I gave the food a thumbs up.  For the rest of the afternoon, I played Roblox with my brother Devan. 

When I woke Sunday morning,  March 12, 2023, I had to wake Mickey up again, because of the spring forward an hour rule. We went to church and learned about the parable of the greedy steward. 

The lesson of the story was you should use your talents to help others.  Mickey is a pro at helping people have a great day.  When we got home, my brother tricked me with fake $100 bills. I really believed him! I forgot to have lunch, but later went to my friend RJ’s house and ate 3 hotdogs. Mickey was impressed! When I got back to my house, Mickey and my big Mickey fell asleep on my comfy chair. When Mickey woke up Monday he said, “I don’t want to go to school. UHHHHH!”
