Mickey's Adventures at the Norris House

My dad and I took Mickey to the Colorado CafĂ© on Saturday.  That is where we did country line dancing.  I ate three ice creams, pasta, two cups of coke and three cups of water and Mickey had a salad and ribs.  My dad and I took a mechanical bull picture with Mickey.

Mickey slept in the chair in my room with my blanket and pillow.  My dog Bear gave Mickey a ride
around the family room in his mouth.  I kept Mickey safely away from my little brothers and my  other two dogs.  Mickey could not play with us in the snow, but he watched us from the window.

My mom and I took Mickey to the girls group I go to and my dad stayed home with my three dogs Bear, Minnie and Finn and my two brothers, William and Luke.  My mom got a call that my dog Minnie was found in Brightwood Park.  My mom called my dad and asked him to go get Minnie and bring her back to our house.  What a silly day we had on Saturday!

Mickey with The Mora Family

Mickey Celebrates Alexa's Birthday

My weekend with Mickey started off on my birthday.  My friends Renee, Olivia, and Alannah came over.  Mickey drooled over the cupcakes and watched me open presents.  Then we went to dinner at the Stage House.  After dinner we went back to my house and had red velvet birthday cake for dessert.  It was a late night.

Mickey with his old friends Teddy and Vincent
When Mickey woke up on Saturday, he was so excited to see his old friend Teddy and my big brother, Vincent.  He remembered the week he spent with Vincent in 2010.  They shared lots of memories together in Ocean City, NJ.  We hung out all day together and watched a movie.  We then went out to dinner with another family.  It was a rainy day and night but we all had fun.

On Sunday, we went to my friend Olivia's birthday party.  It was a bowling party.  Mickey enjoyed watching us play.  I got two spares and a strike but I did not win the game.  We had red velvet cupcakes and a hotdog.  After the party, Mickey watched a football game with my dad.  We then ate pizza and went to bed early because it was a very busy weekend.  I had the best weekend with Mickey and I hope he did too.

Mickey's weekend with Ella

I got to take Mickey home with me on Thursday instead of Friday because we thought it was going to be a snow day. On Thursday night, Mickey did my homework with me and I read my Charlotte's web to Aidan and Mickey. Later, we waited for the call from Honeywell telling us that school was cancelled. When we finally got the call, we were all dancing around because we were so happy to not have school. Mickey and I watched Disney channel until bedtime.
On Friday morning when I woke up, the ground was covered in snow. I went outside to play in it, but left Mickey inside because it was too cold. I came inside quickly because I didn't want Mickey to be lonely. When I got inside, I needed to warm up so me and Mickey had a pull-up contest. Mickey could only do 1, but I can do 10. On Saturday, I went to my friend Emmas house before swimming. I didn't bring Mickey though because her dog Tripp might try to eat him.
On Sunday, Emma came over before my basketball game. We went to swimming played house with Mickey. Hannah and Cassidy made us all lunch. Then, we went to our basketball game. We played Holy Trinity and we won 10-8. Mickey cheered me on on the sidelines.

Mickey Hangs with the McDonalds

We got to spend the Christmas break with Mickey.  Even though we had 12 days off from school, the break went so fast.

We are always running around for activities, so my mom said we could have a lazy vacation.  We stayed in our pjs a lot.  I did have a few hockey games.  Mickey got to see me play goalie.  Mickey is a VERY LOUD whistler!!!!  Sheesh.

On Christmas Eve, Mickey went to our cousins house to celebrate Christmas.  Mickey helped us hand out the gifts to our cousins - Ryan, Patrick, Lily, C.J. and Faye.  While we were there, our puppy Riley knocked over my Aunt's Christmas tree!!!  Thankfully no one was hurt, especially Mickey.  A few ornaments broke and the lights looked funny after that, but we still had a good time.

Mickey helped me and my brothers and sister put out the cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.  He also was able to hug our Elf on the Shelf goodbye.  We are not allowed to touch him except for on the last night before he goes back to the North Pole until next December.

The next morning I woke Mickey up at 6:30am.  He was sleeping on a bean bag in my office.  My mom's family came over on Christmas day.  Mickey was a big hit.

We went to my dad's friends cabin in the Catskills for a night, but left Mickey at our house in New Jersey.  We were afraid Mickey would not like the woods!  I don't think Mickey threw a party while we were gone, but I did find some confetti behind the cushions on the couch….hmmmm.

We had a nice quiet New Years Eve.  Mickey watched the Islander game with me, but fell asleep at 10:00.  Which I guess is good because my brother Dan, my sister Erin and my parents all watched the ball drop in my parent's bed.  My little brother Kevin was already asleep too.  He and Mickey would not have fit in the bed.  It was really cramped with just the 5 of us.

We really liked having Mickey visit us all these days.  We hope Mickey has a happy 2014!!!!!
