Mickey Mouse and Me by Will Kessler

MICKEY MOUSE and ME

By: Will Kessler

I had a really good time with Mickey. On Saturday I was playing basketball with Mickey. Mickey tried to make a shot but he missed. Two hours later Mickey and I decided to go watch TV upstairs. We watched Sponge Bob for twenty minutes and then went down to the kitchen for some lunch. We had sub sandwiches. After lunch we played Legos in my bedroom. We went to bed around ten P.M.

On Sunday Mickey and I woke up early but then decided to go back to sleep. We slept in until 9:30 and then went downstairs for a pancake breakfast. It was delicious! After breakfast we headed back up to my room where we played Legos for two hours.

I left Mickey at home in the afternoon because I had to go to my friends birthday party at Medievil Times. I had fun but I think Mickey was lonely. We spent Sunday evening watching football and eating dinner. We went to bed early that night because we were both tired from our busy weekend.

M & M (Mickey mouse & Mitra)

On Friday evening after school, mickey and I was picked up by my aunt and we went back home. At home, my mickey met my brother's mickey and they both were excited to meet each other. Very soon, they both became best friends! My brother Sid is a very big fan of mickey mouse and he was excited to see another mickey. After we freshened up, I tried to feed mickey some snacks and he refused to eat anything because he said, he's full. After that, we watched TV for a while and we went to bed.

On Saturday, mickey and I woke up late around 10 in the morning. I helped mickey brush his teeth and we had Egg sandwich for the breakfast. At 12 noon, my dad took mickey and myself to my tennis class and mickey had wonderful time seeing kids playing tennis. Mickey went around introducing himself to the kids and all the kids knew him before and were thrilled to meet him. In the evening, all our family went out to a mall for holiday shopping and I took mickey with me and bought him a santa claus toy. On our way back home, we stopped in Mcdonald's to buy some sandwiches and chicken nuggets which mickey enjoyed too!

Sunday started-off on a dull note for us since it was dark outside and raining. We pretty much stayed home for the whole day. While I was busy doing my homework mickey was busy playing with my brother Sid! In the evening, when my dad and I played Tennis and Bowling in Wii, Mickey was cheering for me to beat my dad in the game. As expected, I beat my dad in Tennis and he beat me in Bowling. I thanked mickey for supporting me and my mom served us some healthy vegetable juice after the game. Soon it was bedtime for us and we were getting ready to face another long week of school. I enjoyed every bit of my time with Mickey and I'm hoping for another weekend with him, soon! I LOVE YOU, MICKEY!

Mickey and Jillian 12/10

Mickey and I went to my recital. I played Indian Song on my piano. When I was playing I saw Mickey rocking out in his seat. He was a great fan! After that, we went to get some snacks. I got a delicious cupcake and some scrumptious oreos and pretzels. Mickey got some chips. Then we went home and visited with my grandparents.

The next day, Mickey and my family went to my Aunt Barbara's house for a Hanukah party. We both ate about 15 latkes with applesauce. We got lots of presents and gave some too. I think Mickey liked spending time with my cousins. Mickey got a little bit of a belly ache:(

My brothers Mason and Gavin caught Mickey eating their gelt. (chocolate coins you win playing dreidel ).

Finally, to end the night Mickey and I lit the candles on the menorah. Mickey got scared but I helped him light them as we sang the blessing. Mickey and I had a super, exciting, fun weekend together!!!

Mickey helps decorate for Christmas

We are now back in Westfield and Mickey helped decorate our house for Christmas. He did the small bushes and I did the medium-sized bushes. My father decorated the tall trees. We all did the portico together. Mickey was exhausted after all the work but was proud of what he did. I think Mickey really enjoyed spending time with the Mora's.

Mickey visits Ocean City, NJ

After breakfast, I was chewing gum and I banged my head on the sofa and my tooth fell out. It did not hurt because my tooth was already super loose. After lunch, I took Mickey to see the amusements but they were closed (he was sad). It was a cold day. Next, we went downtown in Ocean City. We shopped and saw the Phillie Phanatic! We then got hot chocolate to keep us warm. As we were drinking hot chocolate, we saw Santa's sleigh crash on the rooftop of City Hall. The fire department came and rescued him. Mickey hid in his bag because it scared him. But then he came out and thought it was cool. What an awesome day!

Thanksgiving Day

On Thursday, I brought Mickey to my Uncle Dave's house for Thanksgiving dinner. We saw all of my cousins who are a part of the Mora family. Mickey's favorite cousin was Eric, who is in second grade. Mickey helped cut the turkey. Eric and I fed Mickey, and we had a wonderful feast. After dinner, we drove down to my beach house in Ocean City, NJ.

On Wednesday after school, we went to Castle Bootery. Mickey helped me buy sneakers. We measured Mickey's feet. The size of his feet was a small 7. My feet are a large size 6! Mickey and I then went to Vicki's Diner for lunch. It was soooo crowded, we had to put Mickey under the table (he was sad). Mickey felt better when he ate the crumbs off my plate. We then went home. I introduced him to my stuffed animal plump dog named Teddy. Mickey and Teddy watched my mom and sister bake cookies and brownies. They stuffed themselves!

sunday night

Mickey and I were playing football, and it was a tie. Mickey was doing good in the beginning but then I caught up and I scored. Mickey got tired, so thats why I scored. When Mickey was trying to score I wouldn't let him score so he wouldn't win. Mickey is really into watching the NY Giants play football. He thinks the game will go into overtime and then the Giants will win. We can't watch the Giant game tonight because its on too late, but we'll check the score Monday morning.

we played in the leaves!

Me and my neighbor went outside to rake leaves. Mickey just wanted to wait till we had a big pile of leaves. But then he got lost in the pile of leaves! So my neighbor and I had to go find him. It took forever to find him. Then his head came out of nowhere. Then we told him to stay out of the pile. Then he went inside and looked out the window so he could see what we were doing.

snack time!

Mickey and I wanted a snack so we went to my candy bag. Mickey was just looking for the lolly pops. Maybe those are his favorite candy. Then Mickey wanted to trade with my brother because he wanted a big Twix. I thought he would have wanted to trade for some lolly pops because I am all out of lolly pops. But he found a better kind of candy. I think I figured out his favorite kind of candy!

11/20-sat. morning with jack riley

Me and mickey went to tommy davis' house. We went on his trampoline. We played a game but then Tommy's Dad asked if we can clean off all the leaves. So Mickey had to wait and sit against the net. Then he complained that we took too long. Then we finished and started to play again. I think Mickey won because he never got tackled because every time someone would go for him the other person would come and hit them. Mickey was lucky because he got to chill out in that game. But then we started to play another game. I hold Mickey and my little brother, my little sister and Tommy had to tackle me and Mickey. We still won that game because Mickey kept on pushing them down. Then Tommy's Dad said he had to go to soccer, so Mickey and I and my little brother and sister said "bye", and then went home.

Mickey Mouse in the Rock's House!!

Mickey Mouse Takes a Baseball Lesson

While I took a lesson from my baseball coach, Mickey was imagining that he was the best baseball hitter, catcher, and fielder that ever was. At first I thought he was just bored sitting there staring at me. But when it was time to leave, he told me and my coach his big idea. Coach said that if this is the case, then he'd like a photograph with this super baseball mouse. Coach asked Mickey to come back next week and give him a lesson!!

"Say cheese!"

Mickey Mouse in Central Park, New York City

A few hours later, we took Mickey to New York City to play in Central Park with my cousins. It was a nice, sunny day so we had fun playing baseball, soccer and jumprope. Mickey thought my cousins were a little wild but I told him that is their normal behavior. We then snacked on cookies and juice. Mickey was a little annoyed that no one packed cheese for him to snack on. Sorry Mickey! Even though he complained, we saw he liked the cookies too.

The Big Cheese in the Big City

Mickey Mouse Goes to a Swim Class

Every Sunday my little sister takes a swim lesson. This week I went to watch her because Mickey said he wanted to see what that was all about. Mickey and I took a seat on the bench by the side of the pool while my sister and her teacher got silly in the water. Mickey liked watching her swim so much that he told me that he felt like jumping in too. But I said that was NOT a good idea because Mr. Pask would not be happy about having a wet Mickey Mouse in his classroom on Monday! I quickly put him away in the backpack after a quick photograph with my sister, Ally.

Don't be surprised if you see Mickey diving into our classroom sink after his visit with me. Thanks for a great weekend Mickey!

Mickey's Adventures at the Russo's House

aaaaaMickey came to stay at our house Wednesday night. We played one of my favorite video games, "Mario Strikers Charged," and Mickey liked it a lot. He even scored 4 goals! We played against my brother ... all close games. We lost the first series, but won the second series. In between the series, Mickey and I got graham crackers as a snack. Mickey thought those were a good snack. He ate a bunch!
aaaaaOn Thursday and Friday, Mickey and I relaxed on our two days off. We played some more video games, had a few pieces of candy from Halloween and Mickey watched while I played whiffle ball outside with my brothers. On Friday night, we went to the movies to see "Megamind." Mickey and I thought "Megamind" was a little funny. We enjoyed the popcorn, too!
aaaaaOn Saturday was my brother's birthday. At around 4pm, we went to the diner to get something to eat. Then we played football for about 30 minutes outside. Then Mickey and I waited for people to arrive for my brother's birthday party. Mickey and I ate some chocolate and candy. We didn't eat TOO much, so we didn't get a stomachache.
aaaaaLater on, once the company came, we played a card game called "Hearts." Mickey and I were on a team with my two cousins, David and David. We played against my brothers, Drew and Daniel, and my aunt and uncle. Even though Mickey and I came in last place, it was still a lot of fun!
aaaaaWe sat by the fire to warm up a little. Mickey and I ate pasta for dinner and then Mickey helped sing, "Happy Birthday!" Mickey and I had a little ice cream cake after that. The ice cream cake tasted great! My cousins brought a big bucket of sports cards for us to keep and share. Mickey picked out his favorites! (Mickey's holding Dave Winfield's card in the picture.) We partied until midnight but Mickey and I fell asleep on the couch.

aaaaaMickey and I decided to relax on Sunday. In the morning, we played a game of Monopoly. Next, we had bagels for breakfast. Mickey had butter on his bagel and I had cream cheese on mine. Later on, we watched the Jets' and Giants' games. They were very, very exciting!
We had the best weekend ever!

Mickey and Me

Halloween with Christian and Mickey

Mickey and I had a blast this weekend! On Saturday, Mickey and I went to my baseball game. Mickey sat in the stands with my dad, mom, and brothers. Mickey cheered for me at bat, at 2nd base, left field, right field, 3rd base, and short stop. During the game, Mickey watched me strike out looking three times. Both teams were short players so I went out to right field and left field to help out. The other team did the same. We played against the A's. Ray was on the other team. We won 6 to 5 in the 6th inning. We are the New York Yankees.

On Halloween we went to my friend John's tackle football game. It was at Tamaques Field. His team is the Lions. John is number 30. Mickey was so excited to be there. My friend Christopher was there and we played while his brother was playing. I watched some of the game. I wanted to see what the QB does. I asked Christopher if they play immediate blitz. Mickey and I had so much fun!

Later in the day Mickey and I went trick or treating. First we went to my neighbors houses. Then we walked down the street to Erin and Jack's houses. After that we went house to house with Mickey. He wanted to devour my candy! We trick or treated with some friends and even hooked up with Tess for a few houses. We all posed for a picture together with Mickey. Then we left and met up with my friends John, Chris, and Jordan. When we were done trick or treating we had about 10 pounds of candy! I've already eaten about a quarter of it. Mickey and I had so much fun this weekend!!!!!!!!!

Joshua's Time With Mickey

I took Mickey to a soccer practice and he sat and watched the game. He never got to play because he was too small and flapped his arms like chicken wings all the time!

I also took Mickey to the Liberty Science Center. My friend Sam Jackman came over to the museum too. Mickey solved a shape puzzle and made a diamond. I put him on my back in his bag and climbed the rock wall.

Here is Mickey smiling!
I found Mickey's height (1' 3"). Small, huh?

Sam, Mickey, and I saw the great, humungous skeleton of a wooly mammoth, and also a baby wooly mammoth that was 40,000 years old.

Then we saw a movie about bugs. A Praying Mantis ate a butterfly at the end of the movie. A Praying Mantis can attack its prey by blocking out the background using the hexagons of its compound eyes.

On Sunday we went to my sister's party and Mickey ate so much cake then burped so loudly that he flew into the air and landed in my arms. When I brought him home I gave him some cheese and he ate it before I could blink... I think he likes cheese!

Here's a photo of him eating the cake and cheese.

I had such a great time with Mickey that I would like to spend another weekend with Mickey again! BYE MICKEY!!!!!!!!

Armen & Mickey: A Busy Weekend!

After school on Friday, I came home with Mickey. I worked on my personal narrative and after we played Super Mario Brothers on Wii. We reached level 2. Good job Mickey! Next, we had soccer practice. Mickey rode with us in our carpool. At practice, he was the loudest one cheering, which encouraged me to score a goal. We beat the C team at practice. It was a long night, we got ready for bed, turned on the lava lamp, which Mickey was very attracted to. He fell asleep staring at the lamp.

On Saturday morning, I went to soccer practice. Mickey stayed home since the field was very muddy. He took a long nap. After soccer, Mickey and I played basketball. Mickey had some basketball issues. Not a good idea to play basketball with a mouse. It was time to go to the Franklin Pumpkin Fair!! Mickey and I had fun winning a fish! We went to play a game like skee ball. I won 4 tickets in one round! I got a bunch of prizes.

Sunday was a very busy day. Mickey and I played basketball. This time Mickey got 9 dunks and he won! The score was 57-2. Mickey improved incredibly. I went to a my swim meet, Mickey stayed home because I didn't want him to get lost. Later, that day I had a soccer game. I was so happy to see my family and Mickey cheering me on the sidelines. I attempted to make a goal, almost made it, but it went right over the net. After a long day, I had dinner, read, and went to bed. Good luck Mickey on your next journey.

Welcome to Mickey Mouse's Adventures with Ethan

Ethan and Mickey made it home after school excited to have some fun. After a good night sleep, the two of them made their way to soccer practice. Mickey decided to cheer Ethan on the sidelines. Cristan and Josh from class were even there to hang out with Mickey. Soon after soccer ended, we were back in the car for a snack. Mickey even had a bagel and a drink of water.

Then they were on their way to Surgent's for gymnastics team practice. It was so much fun. Ethan put Mickey on the beam to see if he could do a back hand spring. The first try Ethan helped Mickey but the next two tries he did it himself. He was so proud of Mickey ! Two hours of practice later and we were back in the car headed for home.

Then we went to my mom's friends house in Morris Plains with Mickey, my mom, my dad, my brother Paul and my sister Rebecca. Mickey played football. He ran and ran and scored four touchdowns. We had hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. He was STUFFED ! He made another friend tonight named Blueberry Fluff. My friend Nathaniel brought him to our friends house also to do his assignment. It was dragon that was blue, green and white. He was stuffed from dinner also. We went home late.

Sunday was fun too. Mickey cheered on Ethan's soccer team to a 5-1 victory. Mickey and Ethan were so excited to hear that the Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins last night. We celebrated with a little sparkling soda. Go Yankees !

I am so glad that Mickey had the best time with me this weekend. I hope you have a good time with him on your turn.
