Mickey at Owen's Home

I was so excited that I got to bring Mickey home for the long weekend. We started off with going to my grandparent's house in Staten Island, NY. We drove there and went over the Goethals Bridge. Mickey seemed really happy to be going over the bridge and spent the whole time looking out the window. I wonder if he's ever been on a bridge before? When we got to my grandparent's house, Mickey and I rode on my grandpa's new exercise bike. My cousin and my uncle were also at my grandparent's house so Mickey got to meet them too. We had a lot of fun and took pictures with my grandparents.

On Sunday night, Mickey played Uno Attack with me, my sister Grace, my brother James, and my dad. Our game lasted for one hour and a half. Halfway into the game we switched from Uno Attack to regular Uno, but with the Uno Attack cards. We didn't even finish the game and had to count our cards because it was time for dinner. Mickey and I won the game because we had the least amount of cards. I think it was Mickey's first and longest Uno Attack game ever!

My last adventure with Mickey over the weekend was going bowling at Garwood Lanes with my family on Monday. We had to wait for an hour before bowling. Our friends came but they left because the wait was so long. My dad won and got 107 points. I bowled a lot of gutter balls but tied for 5th place with my older sister, Grace. We got 48 points each and my family got 386 points all together. Mickey loved the bowling alley, especially the nachos, cheese fries, and pink lemonade!

Mickey and I had a great weekend together going to Staten Island, playing Uno Attack, and going bowling. We hope you liked hearing about our weekend together!

Piper's Weekend with Mickey

This weekend Mickey and I drove to Queens, NY to see my cousins. Do you like exploring a new house as much as I do? My cousins just moved into a big new house and this was our first time visiting. So of course the first thing we did was play hide-and-seek with Mickey. Then we played so many different games with Mickey like Fireball Island, Guess Who? and Cars Monopoly.

After lunch we all, including Mickey, wanted to explore the neighborhood of Forest Hills. First we walked to station square, which is a historical location in Queens, as Former President, Theodore Roosevelt, gave a famous speech there. After taking some pictures with Mickey, my sister, cousin and I wanted to go shopping. We visited a girly store similar to Claires, then my mom, my aunt and I all went to Sephora, where I bought a facial cleanser. It was a great Saturday with Mickey!

Sunday was even cooler because it was Super Bowl Sunday! My whole family, including Mickey, watched the Super Bowl together. By the way I asked Mickey which team he was rooting for and he said, “The Chiefs.” Then we all had some ice cream and we waited and waited for the halftime show. My parents were so excited because Usher was performing. He was so good even Mickey started dancing! All in all I had a great weekend with Mickey,  but the Super Bowl was my favorite part.

Mickey and Ricki!

Mickey and I had a lot of fun this weekend! After school we went to Izzy’s birthday party.  We took lots of pictures, ate snacks, and watched the Parent Trap at the theater.  Next, me and my friend had a sleepover and we played slime with Mickey (don't worry we were careful not to get it on his fur!).  We watched tv and hung out and then we all went to bed.

On Saturday morning we ate breakfast and went to my basketball game at Franklin.   Mickey cheered our team on!  Then we all went home to pick up my sister and her friend and we went to Sky Zone.  Mickey had a blast jumping around with us!  After that we played a family game of uno and Mickey and  I won! Then that night me, my sister, and her friend had a popcorn movie party and watched the Barbie movie.

On Sunday, Mickey was too tired to wake up so he didn't go to Hebrew school with me. After that he came to soccer practice.  He watched me score  lots of goals. He hung out with my sister while I was at a B-day party. After that I took him to cheer practice and he watched me try a new stunt.  When we got home I took a shower and went to bed. Mickey and I had a lot of fun over the weekend!

Mickey's Weekend with Brayden

The day I got Mickey I went to aftercare and my dad picked me up. Then I went to temple. I played with my friends and went to the sanctuary to sing prayers. After that we went out to dinner. We went to the Thirsty Turtle and I got a flatbread pizza. Mickey had a couple hotdogs and he said they were hot dog diggity dog.

The next day on Saturday I went to Connecticut for my dads friend's son Henry's 1st birthday. Mickey and I played a lot of games and ate a lot of food. We both had a couple slices of cake. My dads friends were Korean so they did a ritual where there is a large tray with different objects such as a tennis ball, note book, money, and a stethescope. Whatever Henry picks that will be his job when he's older. The tennis ball represents a sports player, the note book represents a teacher etc.  He liked all the objects and didn't pick one specific thing so I guess when he grows up, he will do a little bit of everything. Mickey and I also played poker. It was my first time playing and Mickey and I won with 25 points. After that we went out to Bareburger. I did not get anything to eat. Neither did Mickey because we ate a lot at my dad's friends house so we were full.

On Sunday I had hebrew school in the morning then tennis.  Mickey tried to play tennis but he was not that good.  He was a little too short. After tennis, I went to the store to buy materials for my Valentines box decorating contest. Then I started working on my box. Later in the day I had a basketball game and sadly I lost 18 to 38 but Mickey had fun watching the game anyways. Then I came home, had dinner, and went to bed.  I had a great weekend with Mickey.

And that was my time with Mickey.

Isabella's Time with Mickey

My weekend with Mickey was amazing!! Saturday and Sunday morning we woke up super early for my swim meet. Mickey watched me compete in 6 different events and win 1st place!! He was very tempted to jump into the pool but I told my mom to hold him tight as I didn’t know if he could swim. After my swim meet we went home and played with slime. I made sure he didn't touch it or he would get very sticky. We also did arts and crafts and tried some of the Christmas gifts, surprisingly Mickey is a very good artist!

Once we were done doing arts and crafts we decided to go on a bike ride. We biked  for 15 mins since it was cold. In the evening we decided to watch a movie with my family. I put on my PJs and together with my mom we made the pot popcorn, the old fashioned way of making popcorn. She says it’s healthier and it’s fun watching it pop. After we watched the movie Mickey and I went to bed.

The next day i decided that it would be fun to bring Mickey to Trader Joe’s with me. We helped my mom shop and then enjoyed a chocolate bar. In the afternoon I took Mickey to my swim practice. Those were some of the things Mickey and I did over the weekend!I had fun with Mickey so whoever has Micky next will have fun too!!!
