Mickey and Me!!

When I found out that Mickey was coming home with me for the weekend, I was very happy. On Friday night, we helped my mom put together a fireplace. Then we played with my fingerboards. Mickey did an awesome trick on the halfpipe. We had a lot of fun. We finally turned in for the night because I had a big game the next day. It was my first day back at basketball in over two weeks.

On Saturday, Mickey came to my basketball game. He cheered me on the whole time. At first, I thought we were going to lose. The score was 11 to 1 at halftime. In the second half, our team scored a lot of points and came back to win the game. The final score was 18 to 15. I was so happy that we won and that Mickey was there to watch. I think he was a good luck charm!

On Sunday, we just took it easy. I was tired from my game the day before. We played some more with my fingerboards and Mickey helped me add on rails to my fingerboard skate park. My Grandma came over and got to meet Mickey too. Mickey also watched a few television shows with me. I had a really good time this weekend with Mickey!

Best Weekend Ever!

Mickey and I did so many things!  It was my brother, Jacob's birthday, and we went to New York City, had a sleepover at our house, hung at my basketball game and my ballet class!  We had such a blast!
Heading to New York City was a great time.  We ate at Black Tap Burger.  Mickey got a regular burger with pickles and then ordered a cotton candy milkshake.  It was enormous!  It had all different colors on it and tasted like a pile of sugar!  I ordered a cookie milkshake that oozed chocolate and chips!
Going to my basketball game was fun too.  Mickey learned how to dribble and make some great shots.  I scored the first basket of the game and we ended up tying with other team.  We were both ready for a nap after!
Ballet was a lot of fun too.  Mickey even tried a new turn and told me he may take a ballet class!  Guess he liked it as much as me!
The sleepover was a great time also.  My brother let us hang with his friends.  We played some video games, ball tag and watched a movie.
The weekend was so much fun that it flew by us!  I will miss Mickey, but I think he had as much fun as me.

Mickey's unforgettable weekend with Kiyora

Mickey's adventure has just begun!
On Saturday, I woke up, brushed my teeth, dressed, and dashed down the stairs to meet Mickey.    "Good morning Mickey.'' I greeted Mickey. I didn't know if Mickey was excited, or not (because he was always smiling) but it felt like he was very excited.   When Mickey and I got down stairs, my little brother, Takato, was waiting for us. When I let Takato hold Mickey,  he was so grateful that he actually saw the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse star, Mickey. Mickey was hungry so I gave him some Breakfast. Then, he was sleepy so he took a nap.    "Good night Mickey!"
On Sunday, Mickey and I went to New York City to visit my Aunt. When we found a nice cafe,we let Mickey sit down and  had a light  Breakfast.    After Breakfast, we decided to go for a walk around Chelsea Market and buy some stuff. Mickey picked out a postcard of Ellis  Island and we thought it was truly perfect! When everyone was happy with what they got, we headed back to New Jersey with my Aunt, (Miyuki).
On Monday, I woke Mickey up at 7:00 in the morning. My Aunt, brother, Mickey and I were going on a Morning walk!  We walked passed Roosevelt, across from Franklin, and into the passage next to the Habitat Garden. When we got home, Mickey' s stomach grumbled.   "I'm hungry." he complained. So we had a late, farewell, Breakfast to remember this unforgettable weekend with Mickey.

Brian with Mickey

Over the weekend Mickey and I had a lot of fun adventures, starting with a big snow storm. Mickey and I went sledding. He stayed in the car and watched me go down the hills.
Mickey also watched me play basketball on Saturday. We woke up really early to get to my game on time. Mickey really enjoyed watching my game and all of my teammates.
Then I took Mickey to a wrestling tournament on Sunday, he watched my brother Luke wrestle. My brother had two matches and did very well. My mom was excited I did not leave Mickey at the tournament, like my brother Jackson did 5 years ago. Mickey and I had a great weekend together.
