Mickey And His Amazing Weekend With Me

Mickey had a amazing action packed weekend with lots of fun. At first all Mickey saw was darkness as if in a mobile jail and then there was light. He slowly fell on a couch and was soothed by the sound of a recorder. When he was out of the bag completely he saw me for the first time. I instantly introduced myself. Mickey listened to the recorder for a little longer and then I practiced my piano. Then I took Mickey outside, BAD IDEA. He slipped off my bike and got grease on his left foot , at least he had a biking helmet on. My mom got a little bit of grease off. Mickey still had fun although he got dirty.

Over the days that Mickey spent with me he became a Yankee fan. He sat down next to me and I turned the TV on and changed the channel to 576 . The Yankee game had just started, it was a big game. The team they were playing - I shouldn't even say their name. It burns to say their name Red So- ow. You get the point. If the Yankees swept the series they would clinch the AL East. The first game Mickey saw was the first game of the series. It was Joba vs Lester, it was a good debut for Mickey. The Yankees won 9-5. But the next day was when Mickey really became a Yankee fan. I turned the TV on after coming inside after playing with my neighbors . It was a Yankee ograpphy of Mickey Mantle. Mickey was angry after I told him I had no tiny size Mickey Mantle jerseys . The next two games in the series were Yankee victories. And just two more times we heard the radio announcer saying the THE YANKEES WIN!!!

In all this commotion Mickey met some friends and family of mine. The first people Mickey met were my neighbors Jeremy, Simon, and Keeley. Over my weekend with Mickey, he watched us play Wii, ride our bikes , and play a game of evening hide and go seek. On the day I had Mickey I brought him to my Nana and papa's house. He played lots of games there. Mickey played Great States, 500 rummy and much more. Everyone loved Mickey!!!!

I had a blast with Mickey and Mickey did too. I was a little sad to see him go but I am happy that all my friends in class will be able to share in the fun with Mickey. If the Yankees win the World Series we will buy him a number 7 mini Yankee pinstripe jersey.

See you around Mickey -

So Many Birthdays... What's a Mouse to Do?

Wow, are we lucky to have a class friend as great as Mickey Mouse! He and I had a blast this weekend. On Friday night, we celebrated my friend Justin's birthday. We went to my friend's house and we opened presents and ate cake filled with strawberry filling. The candles on the cake reminded me of dancing fireflies. Mickey had the chance to meet all of my friends and they really enjoyed him, but were hoping that Minnie would come party too.

Saturday, Mickey stayed home with me. We watched some TV together and he even helped me clean my room! He's good at doing chores. Mickey went with me to see my parents also. We ate some creamy Dairy Queen Blizzards. Mickey wanted a cheddar cheese flavored Blizzard, but they thought I was strange for asking at the store.

Mickey really enjoyed Sunday. We went to visit my sister Rachel at college to celebrate her 22nd birthday. My gift to Rachel was a collection of room fresheners that she likes. As soon as she opened her present, Mickey noticed the sweet smell of the ocean filling the room. Next, we went to lunch at a small restaurant, but the food was so delicious. I had a cheese burger that made Mickey's mouth water!

My weekend with Mickey was so much fun. I'm glad that my family and friends had the chance to meet someone so important to my class. Mickey told me that he is so excited to go home with 3MP in the upcoming weeks; I can't wait to hear about all the fun times Mickey will have!
