Audrey's great weekend with Mickey!!!!!

On Friday, Ethan, my mom and I helped bring down the Pumpkin Fair stuff from the attic at Franklin.  We helped the volunteers set up the tables and tableclothes.  Then Katie, Hayden and I played at school while Mickey hung out at Franklin with our stuff.

On Friday night, my dad, Ethan, Mickey and I watched Searching for Bobby Fisher. The movie was about a little kid who is really good at chess. Mickey and I thought it was a really good movie.

Then we ate pizza. It was really good! We got it from Cosimo's.

On Saturday, I had a soccer game. It was in Basking Ridge. Mickey came to cheer me on ! We lost 7 to 4. Then, after lunch, I went to the Pumpkin Fair but Mickey stayed home so he wouldn't get lost or wet. I didn't win anything but my brother Ethan won a big cookie.

On Sunday I had another soccer game in the morning.  This time Mickey was good luck because we won 6 to 2. I even scored a goal! At 3 o'clock my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins came over for a big birthday party for me and my sister Maddy.    I turned 9 on the 18th and Maddy turned 14 on the 22nd of October.  We ate lots of food like lasagna, salad, steak and lots of cake and desserts. I got a lot of gifts. My favorite was a light  up journal with the letter A on it.  Mickey and I had a really, really fun weekend!  By Audrey Stack and Mickey

Mickey’s Adventures with Ella!

Mickey and I had a busy weekend!  Mickey thinks that maybe Donald Duck should have come to play with us.  We did so many awesome things that we cannot wait to tell you about.

On Friday, Mom picked us up from school and our adventure began.  My cousin, Morgan and my Aunt Tami came to visit us from Chicago.  They met Mickey years ago when he came home with my big sister, Alex.  We went to a big dinner for a charity that night with my whole family including my grandparents.  I was glad I had Mickey there to keep me company.  We ate lots of shrimp cocktail.  We were so tired when we got home but Mickey said he was afraid of the dark so we put on my Halloween mummy lights but he was scared of those too so I turned them off and put on a nightlight for him.

The next morning we had to wake up early for my hockey game.  We got all of my hockey gear on and Mickey asked to sit with my hockey stick when I was getting ready because he thought it was a bench.  Mickey was my good luck charm because I scored 2 goals during the game!  Mickey said he had fun watching me but he was very cold.  I yelled to my dad through the glass to give Mickey my jacket so he could feel comfortable.  During the middle of my game, Mickey yelled to me - your cousins are here! I was so excited to have everyone watching me.

Later in the day we had to get ready for another dinner.  It was for my sister's birthday.  Alex is turning 16!  Mom and I were looking back at the blog that Alex wrote when she had Mr. Pask in 3rd grade.  It was so funny because I have Mickey on Alex’s birthday and she had Mickey on my birthday.  There’s a picture of me at my 2nd birthday party in Alex’s blog!

From my sister’s blog.  I’m the one in the little green dress.

Mickey’s and my favorite part of dinner that night was hanging out with my cousin Morgan and talking about me being a junior bridesmaid in her wedding.   Before dinner Mickey was always eating the cheese off my crackers when I was not looking.  We shared spaghetti and had no room for dessert.  We were so tired and stuffed that we fell asleep on Daddy in the restaurant and Daddy put us to bed when we got home.

Mickey woke me up on Sunday morning and then Mickey went into Jack’s room and Alex's room and woke them up too.  Mickey was laughing so hard and his tummy hurt from all the food he ate last night.  We had breakfast and got ready for my babysitter Jeanine to come over and play with us.  We had so much fun playing with Shopkins. Mickey covered himself in Shopkins and asked if he could bring one home with him but I said you have to talk to Mr. Pask about it.  Jeanine brought me and Mickey to my friend Addy’s house.

After we played at Addy’s for a little while, we all went to our neighbor’s house for an Octoberfest party. Mickey asked for cheese at the party.  They said they had swiss cheese but Mickey whispered in my ear that he did not like swiss cheese so he said no thank you.  I told Mickey I would give him cheddar cheese when we get home.  Mickey said sounds like a plan.  Mommy and Alex got home from the city and Daddy and Jack got home from the football game and they all met us at our neighbor’s party.  Mickey was crying because he did not want to leave.  We had so much fun at all the dinners and parties we went to this weekend.

I hope Mickey remembers me.  I wish he could come stay with me again but I hope he has fun on his other adventures!  I hope Mickey asks them for lots of cheese!  : )

I love you Mickey! <3 Ella

Mickey at the Surgent's family

This weekend Mickey and I had lots of fun times. He was a part of my family. We played cards, looked at my basketball posters, went outside to play basketball, played video games and read books at night. Mickey did my math homework with me. He was a big help. My friends got to meet him too.

On Saturday we went down to my dad's work. He works at a gymnastic school. Mickey and I had so much fun jumping on the trampoline and playing in the block pit. We also tried all the new American Ninja Warrior stuff which was very hard for Mickey because he doesn't have five fingers. I helped him by letting him sit on my back while I climbed.

On Sunday we all went to church. Mickey was sleeping in church and he woke up just in time to join me for my CCD class. After that we watched football all Sunday together. We were lucky because we had Monday off from school. We played video games. I was Sacramento Kings and Mickey was the Golden State Warriors. I won by a three pointer. At the end of the game we said "good game." After we played video games we went to swimming class. Mickey came with me to watch. I wanted him to join me but he wasn't waterproof.

Mickey and I had a fun weekend filled with sports, video games, friends and activities. I will miss Mickey but look forward to hearing about his other adventures.

Mickey's long weekend with Katie

Today was Friday I rode home with Mickey in my hands. When I got home I had to go upstairs and get ready for swimming and Mickey said he wanted to go.  So I said sure!  But Mickey did not have a bathing suit so he could only watch my swim team practice.  After swimming we went home and had dinner and then we played.  Mickey was tired and went to bed, but I watched a movie with my family and then went to bed.
This morning was Saturday.  I got up early, at 8am, for soccer practice.  Mickey and I got dressed and went out for soccer practice.  He met my soccer team and cheered me on.  After soccer I went home and had 2 hours to get ready for the Spaghetti meet at the Westfield YMCA.  This is a meet where my friends and I do relay races and afterwards we walk to the other YMCA and eat spaghetti.  Mickey cheered me on at my swim race. Mickey and I could not go to the spaghetti part because we had a birthday party to go to.  The party was at the nail salon and he watched my friends get their nails done.  When we got home from the party we had dinner and then watched tv before we had to go to bed.
This morning was Sunday. I woke up and went to my brothers soccer game.  At the game I read my book and Mickey looked at the pages.  After we had to go to my soccer game.  Mickey cheered me and my friends.  We had fun.  Mickey and me then went to my friends house. We had a lot of fun.  We stayed up late.  We got home and had to go right to bed.
This morning was Monday and school is closed.  We went over to my friend Audrey Stacks house and Mickey saw his old friend Ethan Stack.  We played a lot and had a lot of fun.  After that I had swimming and Mickey got to come with me.  Then we went to McDonalds for dinner and came home and watch TV and went to bed.
This morning is Tuesday and Mickey and I had to go to school but not Franklin school.  My mom works at Holy Trinity and they had school so we had to go since we could not stay home alone.  At school Mickey and I worked on my Pumpkin Fair poster.  We had fun.  Mommy only works half days so then we went to Starbucks for lunch and had a bagel with butter and a sugar cookie.  Then we got to go shopping.  We then had to pick up my sister from Kindergarten.  Then we went to soccer practice and Mickey saw a lot of my friends.  We then went home and had dinner.  We were so tired so we went to bed.And that was Mickey's supper fun long weekend.
